Crock Pot Baked Beans

These crock pot baked beans are so amazing, clean, and a healthy alternative to traditional baked beans. The recipe is inspired from my friend Ashley’s family recipe. I dislike using a pre-made canned bean mix like Bush, for example. It’s full of unnecessary sugar, caramel color, HFCS, and other additives. It really can be so simple to make a good baked bean dish with real natural ingredients.

Crock Pot Baked Beans::

3-15 oz cans organic great northern beans (drained)
1-6 oz can organic tomato paste
1-15 oz can organic tomato sauce
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup molasses
1/2 cup chicken or vegetable broth
1 onion diced
1 green bell pepper diced
1 lb grassfed beef cooked and drained
2 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp black pepper

Put all ingredients in a crock pot stirring a few times to mix together. Let cook on low 3-4 hours or high 1 hour. Just adjust time and temp depending on when you need them to be ready.
